Hi! I’m Sergio Grossi—an Italian academic based in NYC, currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminology at John Jay College (CUNY). I’ve lived and worked in several countries and I speak five languages (English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese).
As a roommate, I’m low-drama, respectful, and organized. I keep common areas clean (kitchen/bathroom especially), I’m mindful about noise, and I’m proactive about house logistics—clear agreements, shared chores, and good communication.
I’m social and friendly, but I also value privacy and boundaries. Schedule-wise, I’m pretty consistent: I teach Mon/Wed late afternoons/evenings, and otherwise I’m often on campus, in meetings, or writing. I’m looking for a tidy, respectful household with a similar vibe—peaceful, communicative, and easy to maintain.
