I'm working in city government + searching for a roommate for me and my indoor plants, as my roommate is moving for grad school. I love exploring the city, crafting, reading, and making eye contact with every dog I pass on the street. Looking for a roommate who is open to hanging out over a drink or TV show occasionally, keeps the place reasonably clean and doesn't bring too much of the party home.

We think Annie’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

My current roommate is heading to DC for school, and I’m looking for someone to join me in July for a 12 month lease in our 2-bedroom apartment in Prospect Heights. You’d have the larger of the bedrooms (pictured here unfurnished, except with bedframe), with a view of Mount Prospect Park from your window. Our shared open-space living room/dining area/kitchen is mostly furnished currently, but can accommodate moving in furniture. Art and plants are both very welcome.
The building is pet-friendly, and I would be thrilled to live with someone who has a pet (especially a dog). Building has a laundry room, and semi-covered outdoor bike storage, accessible only to residents. Great super on-site who keeps the building tidy. It's a 7 story elevator building, and the unit is on the 4th floor. There is an air conditioner in the living room, and wifi and utilities are set up already, but not included in the listed price (they run about $70 per person each month). Happy to share the newspaper I get on the weekend. The lease runs through June 30, 2021.
In the midst of a pandemic, I know we’ll likely be spending more time together than pre-pandemic New York roommates did, so looking for someone who is comfortable being semi-social at home while the City continues to open up.
