Hi! I'm Maggie, and am looking to make the move from Iowa to Brooklyn in the spring of 2026 but can be flexible.

I'm a trained chef who's been working in restaurant marketing for the last few years, and am hoping to transfer my skills into the publishing industry + do some gig work cooking! I'd be happy to cook dinner regularly as long as you're down to test new things :)

Would love to find a roommate to get a 2 or 3 bedroom with that we can decorate together (I'm into tchotchkes and antique/MCM vibes). I have quite a bit of very nice furniture from my last apartment that if we found a big enough space I'd be happy to bring, as well as literally every kitchen tool you could possibly imagine. KitchenAid if you’re into that.

I have two sweet gray kitties (Pasha and Goose - they're siblings!) who would prefer no other pets but can coexist around another cat if required. No dogs please!

I love vintage shopping, anime/manga (though I can keep that decor to my room lol), music (Cameron Winter is my current favorite) doing puzzles, and going out to restaurants. I plan to join a Riichi mahjong club in NYC as well! 420 friendly but can keep it to smoking outside/vapes if you'd prefer.
