I'm a nurse by day, and a published poet in my spare time. I'm a bibliophile (poetry and nonfiction), logophile (ask me what hiraeth means), with an eye for aesthetics (modern art, midcentury modern furniture, fashion, & design). I spend my free time predominantly reading, writing, or hiking/jogging. In general, I like what most people like: shows (movies, theatre, music, art), literary readings, travel, nature, dining out--the usual pastimes.
Interesting factoids: I was born and raised in ATX. Yes, that's right, I'm a unicorn. I have never owned a television set. I'm a lefty. I was a professional actress once upon a time, long, long ago. I do still get the occasional residual check. Yay for pocket change! And, last, but not least, I own my own home, and I'm looking for roommates to help me with my mortgage!

Brand new 3 story, 3 bedroom condo--Looking for roommates
I'm looking for two roommates to occupy the fully furnished, thoughtfully decorated spare bedrooms in my brand new condo duplex. The home is fully furnished. All you need to do is bring yourself and your things!
The condo has an incredibly spacious living room/dining/kitchen area with up to 13 foot high ceilings and galore. Honestly, it's so well lit, you don't have to even think about turning a light on until nightfall. The house is 3 stories, with three separate patios front and back and on the third floor to enjoy all our sunny weather here in ATX, and it's fully furnished with oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washer-dryer, as well as a spacious front and back yard.
Also, in case your allergic, or have a dog unfriendly to cats, I have a cat named Chloe. She is super friendly, and will most likely try to snuggle with you in bed. : )
My home is located in the up-and-coming East Austin Area off of Springdale, just north of The Austin Bouldering Project. It's also just 10-15 minutes drive to downtown and mere minutes from down popular shopping and eating areas such as East 11th, and East Cesar Chavez The house faces East/West, taking advantage of morning light and gorgeous sunset views
