As a really open-minded, friendly, and clean individual, I prefer roommates who are as well. My preferred roommate situation is one in which my roommates and I are friends, but also respect one another’s alone time. Hi there! My friend, Gabbie, and I are looking for a third female to move into our 3 bed, 1 bath apartment in Clinton Hill. It is on the top floor of a 3-story walk-up building.
Move-In Date: Flexible. December 31st or possibly earlier, as we'd prefer to move before Christmas. You can come whenever in January too, but you'd responsible for your portion of the full month's rent.
Amenities: W/D in unit, dishwasher, A/C, heat, and dishwasher.
Lease Length: 18 months
Deposit: The full deposit is a security deposit ($1267) and one month of rent ($950).
Transportation: 5 minutes walking to the Classon Ave Station (G Train) and 7 minutes walking to the Clinton-Washington Ave Station (A & C Trains).
Furnished/Unfurnished: Unfurnished. Gabbie has some communal furniture, including a large couch, and I have a lot of cookware (i.e., coffee maker, blender, bakeware, etc.).
Other Perks: Free access to a gym and rooftop nearby.
Our Preferences: Overnight guests are okay typically, but during COVID need to be discussed as roommates (i.e., boyfriends okay), and we're 420 friendly so long as you smoke outside.
About Us: I'm 26, and Gabbie is 25, and we'd love to find a professional female around the same age (mid-to-late 20’s). We met recently through our roommate search and decided to start looking for an apartment together. We're hoping to be pals with whoever decides to move in! Gabbie has a boyfriend who will come over sometimes, and we do spend time with others, though we keep our bubbles small and test for COVID regularly. We'd expect the same of our new roommate. I work from home M-F 9-5, and Gabbie works 3 days in her office, 2 days at home (though it'll likely change to full-time WFH).
