About the neighborhood: Marina del Rey is by far the best place I’ve ever lived. The apartment is within walking distance of Abbot Kinney, the Venice Canals, and the pier, and it’s right across the street from the marina. The beach is just a 15-minute walk away—perfect for morning or afternoon walks or runs. It’s centrally located between Venice and Santa Monica, but much quieter here. You can easily walk to restaurants, bars, shops, the gym, and yoga studios.
