Jaiden W - $1,000/month

Heyo, I’m Jaiden (She/Her). I’ve recently moved to Philadelphia and am originally from Delaware. My friends would describe me as assertive, funny, and empathetic. In my free time, I like to listen to music, play music [I play the piano], or explore the city. One of my favorite things to do is thrift shopping.

I am an account manager at a direct marketing firm and have a 9 - 6:30 work schedule. I’d be getting home late on Tuesdays and Thursdays [around 10:00 pm - 12 am at the latest] as I have weekly work events to attend. I’m also a part-time coding instructor, so I’d be working on the weekends, but I’d be home before 10:30 pm.

My monthly budget is $1000 max, and I’m looking to move ASAP. I’m open to living with 1-3 other people - I want my own bedroom. Ideally, the home would have in-unit laundry, Wi-Fi, and a smoke and carbon monoxide detector. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I’m happy to stay in the larger or smaller room.

Here are some quirks and relevant information: I have misophonia, and my triggers are sounds like chewing, pencil tapping, etc. I’m sometimes overwhelmed by loud noises and can’t stand cupboard doors being left open. So, if you’re someone that needs to have the volume on the TV up to the maximum, we might not be the best fit. With that said, I will not get upset with you for making popcorn at night or watching your favorite show at a normal volume. Finally, I don’t smoke, and I don’t want any smoking to be done in the home.
