Hajar O - $1,000/month

Hi there,

My name is Hajar and I am 22 years old. I am french-italian-morroccan and coming to New York for my studies (I’ll be studying cultural studies at NYU). I have been looking for a safe and calm space where I could get nurtured by the people surrounding me while having fun in the city ! I plan to stay for six months but if I find a nice internship I’ll probably stay longer (at least until June).

About me : well I do a lot of things, I studied international development studies and worked part-time at the European Parliament. In the meantime, I am also very interested by pop culture in general and got committed in several event organizations. I also worked as a journalist for small newspapers in Paris while studying. But I think what interests me the most is getting to know people through the jobs that I had and working with people from all backgrounds. This is what I enhance in the events that I organize, usually related to diasporas and minorities’ narratives. Hobbies : I like movies, exhibits, hanging out in nice coffeeshops, libraries and going to dancehall parties and dragshows. I am very curious about everything and you could drag me everywhere I would always enjoy the place. I consider myself a soft soul that likes to party and eat a lot (I cook very well and enjoy sharing my food as its part of my culture!). Very LBGTQIA friendly and 420 friendly (I don’t drink nor smoke but I don’t mind people doing it). 🌻
