Looking for a roommate to take over the 2nd room in my apartment.
I've lived in this area for a few years now. I work full time as an Assistant Editor on TV Shows, I work hybrid, usually in the office 1-2 days a week. Ideally looking for someone similar, prefer someone that is not fully WFH.
As a roommate I am pretty low-key and relaxed, would like to be friendly with my roommate but also enjoy alone time. Respectful of other's space & common spaces and looking for the same. Cool with having guests occasionally but I typically don’t have a ton of people over myself, my family does come to stay with me once in a while though.
I have a dog Lucy, she's a small pekingese mix. She's very sweet, though can be a little skittish with new people. I take her into the office with me most days I go in. Open to another dog in the apartment!
In my free time I like to get outside & go for walks, watch some tv (little bit of everything), play board/card games, knit, play music (clarinet & piano primarily), etc.

7th floor in an elevator building, 2 large balconies in the apartment (1 shared off the living room, 1 off of my bedroom). The whole apartment gets tons of sunlight throughout the day. AC/heat units in every room. Kitchen has a dishwasher, electric stove, decent cabinet & counter space.
Laundry in the building, shared rooftop deck, gym, bike storage room, common space with foosball table.
Available room has a closet, can fit a full or queen bed, desk, other furniture. Faces rear of the building, not much street/traffic noise. Pretty quiet building, nice neighbors. The 2 bedrooms in the apartment are separated by a hallway so pretty private.
I’ve got a fair amount of living room/common space furnishings so you’d mainly just need to furnish your room. Open to additions/changes to the common spaces though of course!
Close to the B/Q at Church or Parkside. Grocery stores, restaurants, Target, etc. nearby. Really close to Prospect Park.
Available as early as Aug 2nd, flexible on move in date, new full year lease starts Sept 1st.
