I'm moving out at the start of April and looking for someone to take over my room lease for the remainder of the year.
- 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Bushwick, right by Maria Hernandez Square Park. This is a 3rd floor walk up, your room has it's own bathroom, internal unit ac (not the outside window type), and bright window. The entire apartment unit has very high ceilings ~20 ft high! Street facing view, highly insulating windows on noise control.
- You could fit a whole queen loft bed and still comfortably stand tall without touching the ceiling. Bedroom photos are the current layout and the room will be unfurnished. Living room has current furniture as seen from photos.
- This is a shared apartment with two other roommates, one who has a cat. We are pet friendly and pets are allowed without a fee. Extremely dog friendly as well, so long as you are cleaning their paws post walks and they are house trained.
- Roommates follow a shoes off policy and are highly attentive to cleanliness. They're the type of clean where the sink has no dishes type of spotless cleanliness. This is required on you as well.
- Their outgoing personalities are extremely welcoming. They prefer being best bros type of friendly roommates. They are LGBT friendly, Mamdani fans, and 420 loving.
- This is a group lease, thus you must be credit approved, financially responsible, and capable of paying rent on time. Security deposit & 1 month's rent are required at start. Rent is $1435 per month.
- Utilities are only Wifi and Electricity. Wifi is $30/month and Electricity varies from $80-150/month.
Roommate Demographics:
- Personalities are on the younger side. 38 yr m & 28 yr m. We each hang easily together at home, out at night, and are highly caring for one another, just like brothers, albeit very goofy.
- Normal weeknight sleep hours are from 10 - 12 pm. Roommates are highly caring for quiet sleep hours. They communicate to each other when they have friends over. Expectations are that you clean after yourself, your visitors, and act responsible for their actions. Even on weekends, quiet hours are post 1 am. They are highly respective of each others private spaces and will not intrude without asking.
- Soft drugs friendly policy. Roommates smoke weed and are highly clean in management. No hard drugs or cigarettes are conducted in doors.
- Common areas include living room & kitchen. All spaces are equally cleaned on shared chores of regular cleaning
- Roommates are highly communicative, patient, and avoid passive aggressive behaviors.
- Weekly grocery runs are conducted together where shared groceries are for mutual consumption and shared cooked meals. Roommates are highly courteous to one another where they do not consume another's food without their approval. You're welcome to participate, collaborate, and cook in their shopping routine together to Trader Joes.
- Roommates highly prefer an open, extroverted roommate personality that is active, healthy, and loves to cook. Their cooking styles blend in Hispanic/Puerto Rican Cuisines with Lebanese & Asian flavors and ingredients!
