Hi I’m Samie! I’m looking for someone to renew a lease with me for a 2-bedroom apt in Bedstuy starting August 1st. I’m 25 and work as a video producer—I mostly work from home but will go into the office occasionally. In my free time I like to dance salsa, make earrings, watch tv/movies, and just generally hang around with friends. I like having people over occasionally for small gatherings/dinners and I use the common spaces pretty often for cooking and hanging out.

My ideal roommate is someone who is clean/organized in common spaces, shares responsibility for keeping up the apartment, and is down to hang while also having our own social lives!

Here’s some more info about the place:
- Rent is $1250 a month plus your half of utilities and wifi
- Move in would be around 8/1, possibly earlier in July if you’d like
- The room is BIG, has lots of natural light and a private balcony
- Laundry in-building and full size dishwasher
- The apt is a second floor walkup in a small building. The neighbors are a family with young children so we’ve always avoided hosting loud events that go long into the night
- It’s a ~10 min walk to the J/M at Myrtle-Broadway and Kosciusko and a ~20 min walk to the A/C at Utica. Bus routes close by are B52, B46 (local and SBS, which I use to get to the A/C), B38, and B15.
- The landlord doesn’t allow pets
- The living room and kitchen will be partially furnished/stocked. I’m looking for someone who is down to help me replace the communal things that my current roommate will be taking when she moves out
