I just moved to NYC from San Diego. I am a NYC Teaching Fellow, and I will be teaching high school math in Bedford-Stuyvesant while getting my masters in education at Pace University (online).

I am looking for the following (Move in August 1st):
Long term renter
A simple, affordable room. Keeping costs low is my top priority
Preferably an apartment with several roommates, since I enjoy a communal environment (not required though)

Interests: I'm 23 years old, I love being outside my comfort zone, I like to stay active (beach, rock climbing, dancing, gym, volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, pickleball), I play Quidditch on the local New York team, and I just reached a 100 day streak on duo-lingo.

A bit about living with me: I just got back from a year teaching English in Spain (I’m a native Spanish-speaker, so happy to give lessons as part of the deal). I am clean, super easy-going, I love animals, I have no problem with overnight guests, and I have no issue with noise since I can sleep through anything.
