My name is April, I am a 34 year old single mom of an 11 year old boy. My son is with me during the week days and goes to his dads on most weekends with split holiday time.
After having a career in a high pressure luxury industry, I now work from home when I am able.
We are clean and tidy, fun and happy people. Laughter, sarcasm and breaking out into song as often as possible are practiced daily.
Generally ‘quiet,’ but like to let loose every now and again. Family oriented, LGBTQ+ friendly, drama free, and non-judgmental.

Room with shared common spaces to rent in townhouse duplex

In search of a friendly, clean and tidy housemateI in the lower Lonsdale neighbourhood of North Vancouver.
Our unit is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex on a quiet street. Perfect size for three people. Close to amenities, parks, bus stop, shops and restaurants. We would love to have a like-minded individual who will do their part in household responsibilities of keeping the house clean and tidy and be an addition to our friend/family circle.
**The rental will include:
A good sized private bedroom with large closet (you can step into it, though I wouldn’t call it a walk-in)
A bathroom right across the hall from the bedroom. It’s the main bathroom that would be shared with my son, guests, or if we want to use the tub.
One parking spot in the driveway accessible from back alley and additional street parking
Shared living room, dining room, kitchen, downstairs entry way, storage and laundry room
Large deck facing the street and front yard
The house is fully furnished - I am happy to share what I have, as long as the tenant is respectful using what is provided.
There is currently a double bed and some other furniture in the room that can be used, or removed based on what is needed.
Wi-Fi and cable included, except any extra movies/channels ordered by the tenant.
Hydro will be re-evaluated on a monthly bases as it fluctuates with different levels of usage.
******PLEASE NOTE - There is a possibility of a rental supplement I will deduct from the rental price, calculated monthly up to a certain amount.
This would only be if the tenant was willing to help with some tasks I currently am unable to do for reasons I will specify in the interview process.
These tasks may include: grocery shopping, cooking occasional meals if needed, driving me to appointments, running errands etc.
