I have a fair share of personal rules for how I share a house but am also very willing to bend those rules on offhand situations. Overall, I like a very quiet living space, but am far from against having other people over, the occasional party, or other things like that. Similarly, I like shared spaces to be tidy but I don't plan on constantly cleaning or demanding people to clean. As long as people clean after themselves, I'm happy. Ultimately, I'm willing to cooperate with my roommates as long as I'm given some forewarning or know that they'll keep things at a similar level of calm and organized as me.
