Spacious Master Bedroom available for lease takeover

Our apartment is a corner unit on the 11th floor. The building is predominantly young tenants in their 20s, situated within a vibrant atmosphere in the Chinatown/Mt. Vernon Triangle neighborhood. This area is 15-20 minute walk to the capitol building and the national mall, makes a great route to go running. The current lease will go to January 5, 2021, with the option to renew at that time and the potential new roommate would have a move in date of September 10th (we are willing to negotiate this date).

A note: The furniture and decor in the living/dining area will be different than what is pictured as the roommate we have moving out will be taking some of it with her.

The unit is a two bedroom, two bathroom, and den apartment. It's equipped with a beautiful kitchen, all stainless steel appliances including a side-by-side fridge with built in water/ice maker, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, oven, stove and microwave all with great lighting and ventilation options. The kitchen also has granite countertops, hardwood floors, and cabinets. The living room has windows, allowing for optimal natural light. Our unit also comes with a balcony off of the living room with a great view of our portion of the city.

About the Room:
The room available is the master bedroom. It faces Massachusetts avenue, and gets a ton of natural light. It can easily fit up to a king size bed, dresser, nightstands, and either a bookshelf or desk. The room has three huge/deep closets. Attached to the master bedroom is a private bathroom featuring a walk in shower, his & her sinks, medicine cabinet, and mirror. The room comes unfurnished.

Utilities are split 3 ways, which include electric, water, Comcast (wireless and cable), and renter's insurance. The apartment building has a doorman with package services, two gyms (treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals and weight machine circuit) and rooftop access. The rooftop is gorgeous, with views of the city, tons of sitting areas (great for entertaining friends), multiple outdoor grills, two pools (heated), two business centers, and two community lounges, and an additional courtyard. Private parking is available in the building's parking garage as well.

About the other Tenants:
The apartment is shared with two young professionals, both working and going to school part time. We are both easy-going, like to have friends over or go out on weekends and some week nights. We do drink, but smoking is not allowed by the building. We are looking for someone to fill the room who is responsible, but also likes to socialize. In addition, given the pandemic my roommate and I try to lead healthy lifestyles that include being respectful of others. This means that we clean up after ourselves, wear a mask in public and wash our hands frequently including when we enter the apartment. We expect our third roommate to be responsible for themselves as well.
