About Me

Hey!
I’m looking to move to the city in the beginning of March. I’m a registered nurse and have been doing travel nursing, but I’m ready to be done with that and settle in somewhere. I work three 12 (but more like 13) hour shifts a week, but won’t be sure whether I will work days, nights, or rotate until I find a position.

I have a medium sized mixed breed dog (just under 40lbs) who is about 2 years old named Penny. She is house trained, very sweet, doesn’t chew on anything that isn’t hers, and is not allowed on the furniture. I’ll make sure that I have a good vacuum to manage her shedding (normal coat/shedder). She isn’t a barker but might cry for little when I leave the apartment until she’s settled in, which should only take a week or so. Since my shifts are long, I will need to hire a dog walker to come take her out while I’m at work (twice if I work day shift, once if I work night shift). I would use the rover app to ensure that it is someone safe and trustworthy. I’ll of course put my schedule on the fridge or something so you’re aware of my work days since my schedule is totally irregular.

I’d love to be friends but will of course respect your privacy and personal space. I like to go out once or twice a week and drink socially. My cousin and sister live in the city. I don’t mind if you have people over as long as they’re respectful of course :)

I grew up in a house with 4 younger siblings and have a big family so I am used to sharing spaces. I appreciate open communication so we can both learn what is important to one another and how to get along best as roommates :) I think finding a 3 roommate situation would be ideal since that would probably give us more affordable options.

If there’s anything else you’d like to know about me just give me a shout!
