1 Dog-friendly room in bright Noe Valley flat w/ laundry & garden

Dog owners, this one's for you. I have a room available in a bright, furnished 2-bedroom flat on Church St. in Noe Valley, with a chef's kitchen, a deck with a dog door, and a shared back yard. The room is $2,100/month [+ utilities and cleaning, 12-month lease].

I'm hoping to find a roommate with a friendly dog to join me and my sweet, mellow 11-year-old yellow lab. The idea is a household where we look out for each other's pups: "Hey, I won't be home for dinner, would you mind feeding the dogs? Just made a great veggie lasagna, help yourself." Ideally you work outside the home [hybrid is fine] and have steady income. I'd lean toward living with a woman, but I'm flexible, and I'm happy to provide references.

The Apartment:
The apartment/room is on the 2nd (top) floor with 12' ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. The bedroom is medium-sized; 12'x11', and has a small closet and window, with a double closet just across the hall. The gourmet kitchen is the centerpiece of the house; both marble and butcher block counters, professional range, disposal, dishwasher, garbage compactor and lots of cabinet space. There is a bkfst/dining room off the kitchen surrounded by East facing windows, so there is TONS of natural light and a sweet view of Bernal Hill/East Bay. There is a small deck off the kitchen, a dog door, and a small shared garden/patio area in the back of the building where we bbq and sometimes garden. Full-sized washer and dryer are hidden in the bathroom, which has beautiful tile work, and a shower/bathtub. The house is furnished except for the bedroom. Given my fondness for cooking, the kitchen is fully stocked. Utilities are shared; gas, electric, and internet, plus monthly house cleaning.

The Neighborhood:
Safe, quiet, and clean. The building is located on Church St. in Noe Valley. We're a few blocks from tons of great shopping on 24th street (Whole Foods) and have tons of restaurants/coffee shops nearby. Street parking is remarkably easy in the immediate area as most of the housing is duplexes and not big apt. buildings. The neighborhood has several dog parks within walking distance, Dolores Park being the biggie. The J Church runs downtown in minutes or out to the airport for frequent travel types. 280 is just down the street for you Silicon Valley folks.

About Me:
I am a very easy-going and respectful male, salt and pepper creeping in, practicing gratitude daily. I've worked in the tech publishing field and am now doing PR for non-profits. I work hard, who doesn’t, and value the quiet a peaceful home provides, while still enjoying music, movies and dinner parties when time permits. I've lived in the city for over 20 years and have a healthy social circle, so I'm not looking for a best friend, but I'd hope we'd be friendly and share whatever daily intrigues come our way. I'd prefer living with a woman, historically we just seem to balance each other better in a living situation, but I’m flexible. The house is dog-centric and I have a sweet, neutered 11 year old yellow lab rescue. We're looking to accommodate up to two more dogs, sorry, no cats. I could live on my own, but like the benefits a shared household and commitment to our pets provides.
