Hello, my name’s Chase, I’m 29 and looking to rent out one room in my 1800 square foot, corner lot, 3 bed / 2.5 bath single-family house for $2000 a month with all utilities (water, gas, electric, sewer, trash), internet (1 GB Spectrum), TV (DirecTV with DVR included), exterminator (Orkin), and parking spaces (1 in the attached garage) included. The home is located in Canterbury community of Tesoro Del Valle, so it’s central to pretty much everything and within 10 minutes of the 5 freeway, COC, Cal Arts, Westfield Town Center Mall, Henry Mayo Hospital, and many other stores and restaurants. It has a fireplace, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, recessed lighting, private backyard with a grass area and fire pit, and only one neighbor to the right. You’ll also get a key to the recreation center and clubhouse which has a fitness center, nature pond, hiking trails, multiple pools and hot tubs, brand new tennis courts, sand volleyball, basketball court, kids park, soccer field, and baseball field. You’ll have your own private bathroom, in-unit laundry, and tons of guest parking 20 feet from the front door.

It will be available on November 1st, and as of now I will be the only other person living there. Most weekends you’ll have the place to yourself since I usually leave Friday-Sunday. I graduated from USC with a degree in biomedical engineering in 2019 and now work from home for a medical device company 3 days a week and go into the office in Pasadena Tuesday and Wednesday. I go to the gym and workout often and love sports especially hockey, tennis, and golf. Also, like to watch the occasional anime, so recommendations are welcome.
