Wicker Park Apartment Room for Rent

I'm looking to rent out the spare room in my Wicker Park 2bed/1bath apartment. It's in a great location right in the heart of Wicker Park and about a 5 min walk to the Damen blue line stop. The apartment takes up the first floor of a 3 story house and is nicely set up. It has a fenced backyard and is fully furnished - you would just need to bring furniture for your room. The available room isn't huge but it's easily big enough for a queen bed and a dresser/desk. The apartment has easy street parking with a permit.

In terms of a roommate, I'm hoping to find someone who is friendly that I'd enjoy hanging out with. About me: I'm 24 years old and brand new to Chicago so it would be great to find someone that's interested in exploring the city and is eager to meet new people. I currently working remotely and will be starting graduate school remotely soon as well, I enjoy working out, hanging out with friends, walking my dog, checking out new restaurants/bars and going out on the weekends. I think I'm pretty easy to get along with as long as you're respectful of shared spaces and clean up after yourself. I have a 2 year old pit-mix called Baxter, he is extremely friendly and loves other dogs and people. If you have a friendly dog that could be a good fit but no cats as I'm mildly allergic to them. Rent is $1000/month including utilities, will need to see proof of income. Open to short term rental.
