Hello! I’m a 35-year old music teacher looking for a friendly, mature, and responsible female roommate to share my 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with. I live in a low-key neighborhood about 1.5 miles from CSULB, close to shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores (Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Lazy Acres), freeways, and the Long Beach airport. The complex is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
You will be getting your own bedroom for $1,065 a month (full lease term rate) and paying for half of the utilities and household cleaning supplies. The bathroom is shared. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all fully furnished so you will just need to bring what you need for your own bedroom (the bedroom furniture shown in pictures will be moved out with my current roommate). The apartment is also a second floor unit with a balcony and parking is on the street. Additionally, I have two very sweet and social cats who love people, though I will need a roommate with no pets of her own.
The lease runs through 11/25/20 and my preference would be to find someone who plans on staying for at least the entirety of the lease term. Stays for a shorter length than the lease term will also be considered at a higher rental rate per month.
My schedule changes daily and I am often in and out throughout the day. I am pretty busy with work and play but I enjoy being home when I can and relaxing in a calm environment. It means a lot to me to come home to peaceful and quiet surroundings. Cleanliness is very important to me as well, as I keep a very tidy and attractive place. I would love to have a courteous, respectful, and easy-going roommate who maintains a similar lifestyle and environment as myself, and is also diligent about sharing apartment cleaning responsibilities on a weekly basis. I have been a long-term resident at this apartment for over a decade and it is definitely a place I love coming home to!
