Looking for a roommate to fill a bedroom in a 3 bedroom apt starting Nov 1st for a short term lease with the possibility to extend.
A little about the apartment and rent:
It is a 3 bedroom unit with 1 bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathroom are off the hallway away from the street (nice and quiet). Decent size kitchen, with large living room/dining room area as well. Rent is $1100 and will be due prior to move in along with a $1100 security deposit. Utilities include WiFi, electric, gas and are about $70 per person each month.
Laundry machines are in the basement (along with an extra shared half bathroom!). There is a shared backyard with a table and courtyard area. Also shared roof access)
The room:
The bedroom for rent is the middle room of the apt, relatively quiet and gets natural sunlight.
The room is 10'2" x 10' with two windows, closet, storage space, and hardwood floors.
Subway and other things nearby:
2/3 Brooklyn Museum (closest, 4 short blocks away) 4/5 Franklin Ave (5 blocks), B/Q 7th Ave (12 minute walk) --20 min subway ride to Lower Manhattan - 40min to Midtown
Across the street from Stroud Playground w/ two basketball courts, exercise area, playground, turf area, and small track.
Several grocery stores within walking distance.
Nearby: Prospect Park/Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn Library Central Branch, Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Garden, Gyms and Workout Studios, fantastic bar/food scene on Franklin (1 block away) and Washington ave (1/2 block away).
The roommates:
The two roommates are both clean, respectful, young adults. Both are friendly and share camaraderie in the common spaces but also keep to themselves.
