Hi, I’m Hannah! I just quit my healthcare job to attend an acting conservatory and get into more creative work. I’ve lived in a great studio apartment in Downtown Brooklyn for the past three years, but am excited to switch things up! As a roommate, I am respectful of shared spaces and always like to be available as a friend and support. I’m a true ambivert- I like to be social but also spend a fair bit of time alone (my acting program is pretty intense and sometimes I just need to decompress!). I tend to keep things pretty low-key and don't have people over to my apartment very often; I usually go out to dinner or a friend's place if I'm seeing friends. That said, I'm cool with having visitors come by a couple of days a week.
Outside of school and work, I like to do yoga and kickboxing, take dance classes, read, watch Netflix (perhaps an unhealthy amount), and explore restaurants and bars around the city.
Logistics: my school is in midtown, and I’m hoping to keep my commute under 30-45 minutes. Ideally, I’m hoping to find a 2 bed or spacious flex 1 bed apartment in a building with laundry (and a doorman would be the dream). I am also open to a 3 bed apartment with two roommates, depending on what’s available. I can budget up to $2000/month, but would prefer to keep it closer to $1500 if possible. Finally, I love interior design and want to make my apartment a pleasant home to live in!
