Hi! My name is Miles. I'm a high school history teacher who currently teaches in the Bronx/Harlem, and I'm looking for a potential roommate to find a long-term apartment in Upper Manhattan. I'm originally from Charleston, SC, where I first developed my love of history and historical thinking. I'm a very laid-back person and roommate. When I'm not teaching, I'm reading, watching a movies and basketball, or cooling out on Twitter. This year, since we're all stuck inside, I'm also going to start practice cooking. I also want to build a home where everybody's friends feels comfortable to visit from time to time. I'm looking for a similarly-aged person that similarly :) I aim to build a home that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and provides a safe space for black people, and other people of color. I believe strongly in building a comfortable home for all, and I'm excited to start that work with somebody that I trust.
