Moving to new york sometime this may (depending on when lease starts/is secured) Moving to new york for an internship, and only hard requirements are good transit access, good internet, and quiet/ability to potentially remote work during the day, and a degree of ordered living. Im a clean roommate, pick up after myself, and am happy to figure out good cleaning arrangements. I also bake (really good) and cook (pretty good) from time to time and am happy to share the results. absolute max budget of 1500, but would prefer to stay around 1000. Just looking for a situation that communication is valued, the apt is clean, and the people are at least polite, if not friendly. minimum need may through august, but very open to longer leases. Background is in History and academia, so very open to other bookish types.
