ME: I am 28 years old -female- looking for a female roommate. My boyfriend is moving out and I can't afford the place on my own (save me) sooooo I am looking for someone to take over his spot on the lease with me thru August 24th. I work full time/spend a lot of my time out of the apartment. I'm clean- non-smoker- petless (sadly). We don't have to be best friends but I have to trust you so I would like to meet with anyone interested to make sure were a good match. I am rarely home & really just looking for someone to help with rent till August. I work full-time M-F and get home around 7:30-8ish. Weekends I'm all over. I'm flexible with different lifestyles/ typically get along with everyone.
THE SITUATION: The apartment has one bedroom and one bathroom... however, I am in desperate need of a roommate so I am planning on dividing the transforming the bedroom into a split (dorm room style) to allow room for a roommate. The living room is HUGE and there's tons of closet space. I will gladly help chip in for the room divider/ shelving that this project would require to make certain the bedroom split is cozy and not looking like a hostel.
THE APARTMENT: It really is a gorgeous apartment. 869 square feet- one bedroom- one bathroom- double sinks-walk in closet-pool view-hardwood floors-pet friendly and laundry in unit. The apartment is pretty much fully furnished couch, tables, dishware etc. The current market price for this apartment is $1,900 and your lease/ monthly rent would only be $720 & half utilities (electric, wifi) usually around $75 per person. As roommates we must make a monthly income equal to 3x rent to qualify. I was the first resident to live in the unit so its almost brand new and very well kept. The property is very well maintained and clean as well, maintenance and staff are on point. The apartment is on the second floor and has a view of the pool, grill, fire pit area- (see pictures). Overall the location is dope, and sits exactly one mile from Ben White off South Congress.
