Hi i'm Stanley.

I'm a nonbinary trans person who spends a lot of my effort on the local DIY scene. I am a creative, and a very hard worker.

I work part time at UPS loading trucks on weekdays from 11am to 5pm. I also work door shifts at a local DIY venue a handful of nights every month, AND I run a pop-up thrift store every other weekend at that same DIY venue.

My home is my sanctuary, so I like to keep things low key. I do like to have friends over a couple of times a week, usually one at a time. We catch up over dinner or a craft. My partner and I see each other usually once a week for an overnight; we tend to alternate who's house we stay at. I generally don't like to host large groups of people (more than 3 at a time), because I find it overwhelming.

I like to keep my common areas like the kitchen or a shared living room clean and tidy, but my private spaces do get chaotic and messy between big cleans.

I have weekly rituals like laundry and grocery shopping and meal prepping that are very important to my ongoing mental health and functionality.

I'm comfortable with roommate relationships that are polite, but open to making a friend. I would prefer to share space with someone who's around my age, with their own passion projects and commitments outside of the home. Another person who prefers to keep at-home social visits cozy, rather than big get togethers, is a must.
