Hey there! I will be starting a post-doc in San Francisco in October at UCSF and am looking for a roommate who would like to live in an apartment near UCSF (mission bay area). My budget is 1000-1700. I'm ready to make some friends and a new roommate is a great place to start.
A little bit about myself: I am a very outgoing guy when I'm not in work mode (and you will know because I will be in my room or in the lab at UCSF). Work mode is Monday through Friday, so I am pretty tame and quiet during the week. If it's the weekend, I love to go out with friends to bars and restaurants or really anywhere that is not my apartment. I would prefer a roommate that shares those tendencies (so we can hang out and stuff!), but not a dealbreaker. I would like a roommate who is OK with me occasionally having friends over. Hopefully my friends can become your friends, or minimally we can all be friendly to each other. I can assure you that I will invite you out a lot at least initially but if you tell me otherwise then I won't.
NEED TO BE OK WITH DOGS. I have an energetic mutt but if you like dogs then you will love her because she's a bundle of joy like no other. Don't worry about her getting in your space, I've always been good about keeping her out of roommates' things and I can keep her in my room when I'm out if need be.
Also, if you have a significant other, I would like to stress that I'm fine with that as long as they are not spending every night over (4 nights a week tops), and if they are, they will need to contribute to rent or utilities. You can expect the same from me.
Finally, just be a decent human being and clean up after yourself. That's pretty much it. Thanks for reading and let me know if you're interested.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,700 |
| Move in Date | Oct 2023 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 27 |
| Occupation | Post Doc |
| Pets | Dog |
| Hometown | Richmond, Virginia |
| Education | Ph.D. |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Sam would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
