It's about to get cold when we are stuck inside a lot! The 2500 square foot home I rent has room available and lot of space to share/spread out/have privacy.

We are on a tree-lined street, inside the Beltway, with total privacy and quiet. This is the perfect house for being outside, yoga, relaxing, social distancing, etc. It's homey, cozy and a sanctuary away from this stressful world at the moment!

I work as a therapist with at-risk teens. My room was an addition to the house, and it's like my own apartment.
I spend most of my time in there when I'm home. So, there is tons of privacy and lots of open shared space that hardly gets used.

The sunroom can be used as an office (you can close the door) as well as several other shared spaces.

TWO ROOMS AVAILABLE (either separately for these prices or both together for less)

1) Downstairs room is $950 including all utilities

This is medium-sized room downstairs with a decent closet, one large window with a blackout shade, no other bedrooms on that floor (16.5x9.5)- Also fits a Queen bed, or a Full-sized bed gives you extra space. (See photos)

2) Upstairs room is $1250 including all utilities

This room is a large bright and sunny private bedroom with 2 large windows and a big WALK-IN CLOSET (12x13 room) and a ceiling fan. It easily fits a Queen-sized bed with lots of room to spare. (See photos)

I am willing to rent only one room out if you want to have the whole bathroom to yourself (private bath) and your own parking space. We can discuss. I am also willing to do the same and rent out both so you can use the downstairs as your office and I won't charge as much.

Utilities include:
water, gas, electric, high-speed internet throughout the house and outside, lawn-mowing and all yard work and a cleaning service for entire house every month.

The amount of outdoor space and huge main living room, dining room, porch, etc is perfect for social distancing to have a friend over, and also for working from home.

If each room is rented separately, two people share the enormous bathroom with a glass waterfall shower, huge jetted jacuzzi tub, heated marble floors for the winter and a fold out ironing board in the full-length mirror.

Also the 2500 square foot house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, has central a/c, hardwood floors throughout, a spacious living room with tall vaulted ceilings and a wood burning-fireplace, dining room with seating for 6, full kitchen stocked with everything you need, 4-season glass sunroom facing the yard, huge screened-in porch with ceiling fan and skylight, and private fully 6 foot fenced-in backyard.

I am somewhat flexible about the length of time you'd want to stay, although I'd prefer a lease until August 31st with your choice to renew it if you wanted.

The entire house has sound-barriers that gives you so much more privacy than a typical home. The other bathroom is a normal bath in between the upstairs rooms.

We also have a shed that used to be a club house, and I’d be open to converting it if you wanted a tool shop space, garden shed, etc.

I have two sweet, small hypoallergenic dogs that live here- a Yorkie and a Havachon. They will leave you alone or play with you if you'd like!

You basically move in to a live-in ready place with everything you might need- just bring your bedroom furniture! We have a big, barbecue grill, lounge chairs and 3-person umbrella, outside dining also with umbrella out back.

-On our corner is the bus with access to Silver Spring Metro station (Red Line) or an 18 minute walk to the Red Line Metro.
-20 minutes to downtown DC by car. Purple line will be 2 blocks away soon if you're staying.
-Literal 3-minute drive to the Beltway (we are inside the Beltway off Colesville Road)
Everything is nearby, but not close enough that you're aware of it!

BEST Location!!! Private retreat but 5 minutes from everything
Woodsy, quiet Silver Spring neighborhood and a quick drive to Rockville, Bethesda and Chevy Chase. DC is also super-close.
