I’m looking for someone to take over my part of the lease. There’s a room available in the apartment with 2 great roommates (both young professionals) in the Lower East Side. The room fits a full bed, has a closet and window, and you’d share one of the two bathrooms with one roommate. The apartment has in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, a full kitchen, and a shared courtyard. It’s also ground-level accessible on the first floor, so you don’t have to deal with a long walkup like many other NYC apartments.

Here’s what they’ll need:

Completed electronic application

Photo ID

Letter of employment with salary/position on company letterhead

3 most recent bank statements (full PDFs)

3 most recent pay stubs

Last 2 years’ tax returns (first 2 pages of 1040)

Most recent W-2

Reference letter from your previous landlord or 6 months of rent payment proof (not needed if you haven’t rented in NYC before)
