Hello Everybody:

I am looking to rent a room with a private bath in your home. I am a 56 year old man who has a minor physical disability. I walk with a cane.

I lived most of my life as a school teacher in Northern New Jersey. For the last 17 years, I lived in both Central and Lower Bucks County. I was the primary caregiver to both of my ailing parents. 2 years ago I incurred nerve damage in my lower legs. Although I walk with a cane now, I collect Social Security Disability as my income. I had to retire.

I am looking for a nice place to live while I wait to receive reduced income housing somewhere over the next 1-4 years. I am on several waitlists. That being said, I am particularly interested in either a month to month lease or something similar.

I currently rent a room in a townhouse in Tareyton Estates in Langhorne. My landlord is settling down with his girlfriend and will no longer be renting after my lease ends.

My credit score is poor, because I could not afford to file for bankruptcy when I developed my nerve damage. However, I have documentation that I have paid every single rent check on time (and sometimes early) for the last 8 1/2 years. I have 3 landlord references.

Overall, I'm a nice guy. I pretty much stay in my room and either work on my computer, watch tv, talk on the telephone. I also like to cook. During the week, I attend my medical appointments; I get picked up by Bucks County Transport since I no longer drive.
