Room for rent in cool Sherman Oaks apartment!

About the apartment:

Bedroom available in a unique two bedroom, one bathroom apartment in north Sherman Oaks walking distance from the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Rent is $1360 for the room.

- Already fully furnished in the living/dining areas so you'll only need to furnish your room (but please bring anything you want to add in to common spaces!)

- Full kitchen with all appliances incl. dishwasher

- Living room has really neat 20 foot wood cathedral ceilings so the whole place feels incredibly spacious and is filled with light from multiple windows and a skylight.

- Mock-hardwood vinyl flooring throughout except for the bedrooms which are carpeted (and cleaned regularly)

- The open room has a wall-to-wall sliding door closet, and there are tons of unused storage shelves/cabinets in the hallway outside, so there's plenty of space! Can very easily fit a queen bed, dresser, desk, etc.

- While the bathroom is technically shared, my room has an ensuite vanity/sink/storage, so the only thing we're really sharing is the toilet and shower—all the in-bathroom storage and cabinet space is yours.

- There is a patio/balcony space with sliding glass doors off the living room area.

- Free gated parking (tandem spot you would share with me)

- The complex is gated with keypad access and has a pool and a laundry room!

- Utilities (water, trash, high speed wifi) usually come out to $80 a person per month on non-electric months, and $140ish a person per month on electric months (LADWP charging every other month)

About me:

- 26 year-old AFAB nonbinary person, originally from New York.

- I work in entertainment management/PR and do work from home most days, but stick to my room to work and am often out of the house when not working.

- I love to cook and am more than happy to let you be my taste-tester!

- Rarely do I really have people over (I prefer to go to my friends' places) but I never mind it and you're more than welcome to host whenever you'd like—I do have a long-distance girlfriend who comes to stay for a long weekend every couple of months and sometimes host visiting friends from home.

- I'm very outgoing and adventurous, love hiking and the beach and movies and catching a baseball game.

About YOU:

- Is good with cats and does not have any pets of their own

- Ideally would love someone who is open to hanging out as I've always been friends with my roommates, but this is not a requirement obviously
