looking for a roommate (Immediately)

Hi everyone,
I’m a male Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University in Indianapolis, and I’m currently looking for a respectful and responsible male roommate to share my apartment at River West Flats, located at 1150 North White River Parkway Drive West. The apartment is on the 11th floor with a beautiful river view of the White River — something truly enjoyable every day!
This is a newly built, modern, and luxurious apartment in one of the best and most convenient locations in Indianapolis — just minutes away from the campuses of both Indiana University Indianapolis and Purdue University Indianapolis. Compared to other apartments near campus, this unit is not only better located but also more affordable.
The unit is a 2-bedroom apartment. I currently live in the smaller room, and the available larger bedroom is almost twice the size. The rent for the upcoming lease year is:
• $788/month for the larger room (for the new roommate)
• $638/month for the smaller room (which I’ll continue to pay)
We’ve always shared the rent this way in the past two years, and I’d like to continue the same arrangement.
The total rent for the apartment is $1,426/month, and everything is included — flat-rate utilities (water and electricity) and free parking. There are no additional charges. You can use water and electricity freely with no limits or surprise fees.
The lease will start on September 1st, 2025, as my current roommate is moving out on August 31st. I plan to renew the lease and I’m looking for someone who is ready to sign a full one-year lease with me from the beginning.
