1 room available for sublet in Brooklyn - $755 per month

I'm moving out of an apartment in the PLG area of Brooklyn to be closer to work.

In a really nice part of Brooklyn (it's on a quiet street near prospect park) on Maple Street and Nostrand Avenue. It is around 4-5 minutes walk from the 2 and 5 trains, and around 12-15 minutes walk from the Q and B lines which I take to work every day.

The sublet would be until August of this year, at which point the lease will end.

The room was newly refurbished when we moved in 6 months ago so is in pristine condition. Currently it easily fits a full size bed and a desk (could also fit a queen size bed). Due to the building's situation with rent control, it is currently an excellent price and will be for the remainder of the lease.

You would be sharing with 3 male roommates, all in their early twenties. They are all people I met through apartment hunting forums like this 6 months ago and are all very friendly, easy going people. I'd recommend briefly meeting them during a viewing of the room. They are generally clean people but also laid back - the place never gets dirty, but nobody freaks out if dishes are not cleaned within the first 5 seconds etc.

Viewing in person would be mandatory.

If interested, please respond to this post and we can go from there. Rent is based on divisions of the full apartment rent we worked out at the start of the year, so is non-negotiable. Up front payment would be the first month's rent (pro rated based on move in date) and one month's security deposit which you'd get back at the end of the sublet.
