I am an introverted individual who is interested in travel, new experiences, history, politics, video games, and nerd culture.
I also listen to a variety of different podcasts like Radiolab and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.
Beyond that, I've lived in NOVA since early 2015, but I grew up in MA, went to college in MD and OR, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Moldova, and went to graduate school in CO.

About you: You're a young professional, serious about work, low-key, and sociable. Clean but not anal about it, flexible and considerate with shared spaces. Pretty quiet during the week and open to going out and/or hosting low-key gatherings occasionally on weekends.
About the place: Lots of windows, so there is a lot of natural light. Hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is spacious and has a dishwasher. The common areas will largely be unfurnished (what is pictured largely belong to my roommate who is leaving), but they could potentially be furnished if needed. There is storage and a pay-per-use washer and dryer in the basement.
About the neighborhood: The apartment is in Crystal City/National Landing, about 10 minutes from the Crystal City Metro and about 15 from the Pentagon City Metro and shopping center. The neighborhood is quiet, but there are many restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and small parks within walking distance or a short ride by public transit. I don’t have a car, but there is one off-street parking spot per unit.
About parking: There is one free off-street parking spot per unit, but there is also on-street permit-based parking that is available to anyone on the weekends and during the evening
