Bedroom/Bathroom Available for Rent (shared Apartment) (Charlotte, NC)
Seeking a person/roommate to occupy one bedroom in 2-bedroom apartment space that I currently live in (located at Charlotte Woods Apartments, approx. 1.5 miles from the Woodlawn light rail station)!
Currently residing in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment and would like to share it with an ideal, responsible roommate. Please supply the following:
- proof of employment (at least three consecutive months is required)
- Must be earning at least $45K (will need to see proof, i.e. paystub)
- copy of recent credit check
Additional details:
- Tenant must be at least 24 years of age
- Interested persons must supply $25 for the apartment leasing office to process a formal background check (this amount may be subject to change).
No new tenants will be allowed to move-in without passing the background check first!
- The amount due to move in is $685. This is non-negotiable and is not pro-rated! This must be paid in full prior to move-in.
- Monthly rent is due on the first of the month (even if you've just recently moved in)! Zero exceptions.
Will be considered as late after the 5th (a $50 fee will be accessed for late rental payments). If unpaid by the 10th, tenant will be asked to vacate the premises asap or comply with legal authorities.
- The monthly rental amount will cover utilities (electricity and water), internet, and other amenities supplied by the apartment complex.
- Amenities include nightly valet trash service (Sunday - Thursday), 24/7 on-site maintenance, swimming pool (Summer months), 24-hour fitness gym, laundry facilities, elevators, an attached parking lot, and others (feel free to ask/inquire
- Open access to living room/TV (currently only using FireStick T.V., with access to multiple apps/subscriptions; no cable service is currently available).
- Open access to kitchen (stove, microwave, and refrigerator are available). Dishwasher also available but rarely used and currently in need of service.
- Drivable distance from Uptown Charlotte.
- New tenant will be responsible for furnishing their own bed/bedroom set/etc. for their room.
- New tenant will receive copies of door/apartment and patio keys after passing the background check administered by the leasing office.
- If you choose to depart/move-out at any time, you are required to pay a $500 fee
- No "fury friends" are allowed whatsoever.
- Also, zero drug/substance usage is allowed whatsoever (unless proof is authorized/supplied from licensed physician/doctor). No preference around smoking, but highly stress using wise judgment when doing it if you're in the living room/common area.
- No drama or disturbances of any sort will be tolerated! Any violation will result in immediate eviction from the premises!
- Additional note: If selected to proceed with moving in, please be aware that there is a chance an additional tenant may also be moving into the premises to reside in the living room area. More details to come.
- This is an older building surrounded by trees and bushes, so bugs/flies can occasionally be seen in the apartment. For that reason (Though not mandatory), it is encouraged to limit entry and exit through the patio door as much as possible, in order to reduce access to outdoor bugs/flies.

This is a very friendly and pleasant environment but also a reasonably-quiet one, so all rules/guidelines and policies administered on the property must be adhered to, 24/7!
