I'm a prospective student at Columbia University, studying a master's of Information & Knowledge Strategy. I'm looking for a room in a shared apartment during my expected stay in New York starting from September 2023.

I'm a nerdy introvert, I mostly prefer to spend my evenings quietly reading a book or practicing my hobby of creative writing. I speak English, Arabic, German and a little bit of French.

I love literature, wildlife, and astronomy. I like to explore nature and I go out on semi-weekly hiking or similar outdoor activities. If you ever get curious, chances are that I might be able to help you name a star in the sky or identify a bird that flew by your window.

I've been a volunteer editor of Wikipedia, everone's go-to homework website, for a long while. My current job (until my studies start) is with the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation.

Although I'm not usually very socially proactive, I'm looking up to my stay in New York as a chance to get to know new people and connect.
