I'm Emma, 21 years old, a French student (from home) and I'm planning on moving to Toronto in mid-January, beginning of February. It's my first year of a distance learning master's degree in French as a Foreign Language.
I still need to find a working permit and fill in other paperwork before being able to finally move to Toronto.
I also would love to meet people (maybe my future roommates) who could help me answer some questions about living in Canada, especially as an international worker/student. I'm planning on having a part-time job (that would be the best for my degree) so I will not be 24/7 at home.
I have a cat, Mushu, he is 6 months old and is the sweetest cat ever. He likes to talk, cuddle and play. So if you want me as a roomie, you must know that Mushu will follow me.
Since I don't have a job in Toronto yet, I don't know how much I'm willing to pay for the apartment, but I would say that $800 would be the maximum.
About me:
- I'm quiet and organized and like to live in a clean place, so no mess in the common rooms would be a must
- I like going out (you need to show me the must-go-to bars!)
- I don't expect my roommate to become my best friend, but I don't want to live with a stranger either
- I like to invite friends over from time to time (no party tho, so if I ever make friends) I need to know if it's okay for you
- I also have 2 rabbits which unfortunately can't come to Canda
- My life revolves around the gym, music, my boyfriend, and my cat
If you have any questions, you can text me :)
