I am an older adult in need of a male roommate who, in exchange for reduced rent/utilities will commit to drivIng me places—like doctors or the grocery—and help with other tasks on a agreed upon hourly basis.

Also good if they could call my wife—who lives in a nursing home nearby—if I seem to be having a seroous bipolar swing in need of medical attention.

I do not require bathing or any professional caretaking, just a nice reliable male roomate. In return, you get to live in a well-kept, attractive 3-BR ranch house with a large backyard in a good neighborhood close to Decatur. I also have a piano, TV, microwave and washer/dryer.

We would sign a barter-for-services memorandum of agreement, so the parameters of the arrangement were clear from the get-go.
