I've lived in 4 shared living arrangements all via Craigslist and 2 independent leases when I lived abroad teaching english. I've learned that I now want only one other roommate, maximum 1 party/large gathering per year, and cleanliness of common areas.

I've lived mostly in shared homes where the vibe was living with a landlord or with others where the vibe is extremely polite and we're just here to pay rent on time and keep it quiet. Now after finishing grad school and in a more financially stable time of my life, I'm looking for just 1 other roommate. Ideally someone who is chill with kitchen convos, occasional joint grocery store runs, maybe share a beverage every so often. I'm cool with friends/partners coming over, just no big parties except maybe one with lots of notice. I'm no longer looking for the "here to pay rent" vibes but also not expecting BFFs--I think somewhere in between would lead to the vibe I want at this stage in my life.

I'm a recent Master of Social Work Graduate from UW who is about to start a job as a school-based therapist. My max budget is $1400 and ideally closer to $1200. Friends would describe me as fairly quiet but chatty after warming up, generally introverted, love to exercise--I'm a big distance runner, very clean in common areas, and extremely considerate of noise. I wake up pretty early to run and early to bed by 9 or 10. Outside of work and running I watch a lot of soccer, go to breweries, practice and teach yoga, and like going to coffee shops to read.
