Josie B - $1,800/month

Hi, I'm Josie. My partner and I (and our cat) are looking to move to Lower Manhattan and sign a lease with a roommate in mid-august/start of September. We would pay more than half the rent because we're a couple, and we're super down to search for an apartment together as a group (so you get a say in where you live and cheaper rent!)

A little about us:
-We currently live in Brooklyn
-We're both starting master's programs in the fall (him at NYU, me at The New School)
-lgbtq+ friendly, and would need you to be as well (I am queer, he is not)
-420 friendly, but totally fine with it if you'd prefer for no one to smoke in the apartment
-Open minded
-Good at keeping common spaces clean, washing out dishes promptly, etc
-Laid back and friendly
-Normally we would not be at home a ton, but because COVID classes will be online and we will be around more often
-We read a lot (bookshelves will be necessary in our apartment), we watch movies, I paint occasionally
-We've been together for almost 3 years, lived together for 1 year, and were best friends for 2 years before we started dating (We are very low drama, rarely disagree and if we do we handle things in private in a calm mature way)
-We're both down to be friends with a roommate(s), but totally fine if you'd rather not!
