I'm a PhD student at NYU, so I do tend to be pretty busy with work. I'm pretty laid back and somewhere in the middle of the introvert/extrovert spectrum. Some weekends I go out a lot, other weekends I spend most of my time chilling in the apartment. I love walking around the city, playing rec league basketball, and finding time to hang out with friends.
I'd like to be friendly with my roommates but respectful of each other's space. I have a projector in the living room, so I'm always down to watch a game or have a love island and wine night. I'd like us all to be able to have friends over and potentially host smaller parties, just not constantly.
I am ideally looking for other grad students, older college students, or young professionals.

Available Room for Rent
The apartment is quite spacious. The smallest bedroom of the 3-bedroom apartment is available. The pictures show the room with a full size bed, desk, dresser, and tv stand. The room doesn't have a proper closet, but the Ikea wardrobe and large shelving unit shown in the pictures will stay. It is a south-facing room, so it receives quite a bit of sunlight.
The living room is large and has a sectional couch plus storage. The kitchen is a separate area. There is an oven with gas burners, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a toaster oven. It also has upholstered window benches and a table. It is quite sunny in the mornings and a really nice place to sit and eat meals. The walls are painted yellow, adding a fun splash of color to the apartment. There's also a chalk wall at the entrance to the kitchen
The bathroom has a bathtub and a storage shelf.
Overall, the apartment is quite quirky and has a fun NYC feel to it. There is also roof access, but there aren't really walls. The building only has one apartment per floor and is on the top floor, so it's actually not terribly noisy. There's a slight tilt to the whole building, but it's kind of fun when you get used to it.
