About us: we're both professionals in our late 20s (1 male, 1 female) who work full time and are pretty laid-back and independent. We are looking for an easygoing roommate who is clean, responsible, can pay rent/utilities on time, and contribute to shared apartment upkeep.

The available room (pictured in first two photos) is unfurnished and contains a ceiling fan, A/C unit, built-in closet, and wood floors.

Rent is $700/month and includes gas/water, while monthly electric is about $25/person and internet is $25/person. Located on Ashland by Irving Park, close to Irving Park Brown Line, #9 and #80 buses.

The apartment is very spacious, with a bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of storage space. Wood floors, centralized heating, A/C unit in each room, lots of communal space, finished kitchen with marble countertops and dishwasher. Brand new washing machine and dryer in building. There's also a shared patio area in the enclosed backyard w a vegetable garden, tables & bbq.

There's a $39 application fee (credit/background check) but NO security deposit or move-in fee.
