Hi! I'm moving to the Austin area to start a new job. I had the chance to live in Austin for a couple months while remote and fell in love with the city. Through this, and my best pal that lives here, I'm lucky to already have some friends here, though unfortunately none of them need a place to live - so I'm looking for a roomie!

I am looking for an apartment complex (preferably East Austin, but anything within 10min drive to the office downtown will do) with amenities like a nice gym, pool, places to WFH, and w/d in unit.

I'm a pretty laidback person, social and outgoing but do enjoy my alone time. I like my space to be clean and tidy but am not a neat freak and am the kind of person who would prefer to discuss any potential issues that arise rather than sulk or be bitter (though I'm pretty easygoing so don't expect there to be any!).

My fave sports are soccer (hope to join a rec league), surfing, snowboarding (+ since I can't do that here, will be planning trips to go!), and on the weekends enjoy going out with friends or chilling at home either reading or watching netflix. I also enjoy cooking and as an ex bartender can make some tasty drinks, so would love to be able to host friends for dinner every now and again, with roomie's approval of course :) Also interested in getting involved in some volunteer opportunities in Austin.

Would love to find a roommate who is also easy going, a good communicator, and who wants to be friends though I def don't expect us to do everything together!
