My name is Ian Sotomayor. I am 23 years old, my pronouns are he/they, and I'm a brown, bisexual, Latino person. I'm working towards becoming a clinical psychology and was recently hired by a clinical psych research lab at Stony Brook University. I will be working from home 3-5 days a week and will travel to Stony Brook 2 times occasionally.

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, moved to Saint Augustine, Florida when I was 9, and moved to Los Angeles by myself when I was 18 years old. I very independent, love to socialize, and love my alone time. I'm really into music, hip hop dance, nature, coffee, books, activism, and social justice! I got my bachelors' from the University of Southern California (USC) and love LA! However, I'm moving because this new job could be pivotal in my chances at getting into a PhD program in clinical psychology.

I'm open to living with anyone, but I'd really love to meet other queer people of color!
