Mister B - $1,000/month

Hello there,

My name is Shane, and I am seeking a new place to live by April 30th! So, here is the thing... I have lived alone for 10 years, and I am going to be perfectly honest with whomever is reading this.. I wanted to continue to live alone... but in today's rental market, it is looking impossible for me, considering my current situation, which is why I am making this ad! My goal with this ad is to find the PERFECT fit for me as a roomie... well, at least as close as I can get in 2 months time! ;)

So, here is a bit about me, and I am not gonna hold back, I am putting it all out there:

I am a 36 year old gay-bear, I currently have a hernia the size of a soccer ball that is huge, makes me feel insecure, and has made it difficult for me to leave my home for the last three years. I have to lose 100 pounds for the surgery and I am 60 pounds down, 40 pounds to go!

Sadly, due to this... I have not been able to leave my apartment in nearly three years... it is a mental illness that I have been struggling with... I have basically been alone in this space with only my two cats, Earl and Clive... whom I will speak more of momentarily!

Because of this... I really need a very chill and understanding roommate... someone who makes me feel like the home I am moving into is truly ours and that I am not just someone imposing on your space... I would even love to create a genuine friendship, a space where I feel safe going out into the living room to watch TV, go make something to eat in the kitchen, use the washroom without the vibe that I am a disturbance... I may kind of need someone to help break me out of my current shell... a bit!

So, about the cats... yes, I have two, Earl and Clive, they are super cute and friendly and if you are a cat lover you will fall in LOVE with these guys... I could always try to mainly keep them in my room, but I KNOW they would eventually want to explore the entire apartment and would hope that would be okay and that you would end up thinking they are cooooool cats haha

Honestly, I just feel like I am rambling, because I really want my new roomie to get to know me so there are no secrets, so we can actual co-exist in a super honest/open/loving home where we support each other, have fun, and actually relieve each other of life's stresses! So, here are just a few more bullet points about me that I can think of off the top of my head:

- I smoke weed... but honestly, I am thinking of quitting... but that may all depend on my new roomie and how they feel about it!

- I can be loud, sometimes... do not get me wrong, I am respectful and will always be aware someone else is there and I would never be walking around screaming or causing unnecessary noise... however, I am a HUGE gamer and I play videogames on a Discord call with a group of friends almost every night... and sometimes I may laugh if something is funny and I tend to have a booming laugh... it would be nice if I had a roomie who understood that someone else lives there and perhaps even enjoys hearing someone else in the house, you know, a comfort thing! But again, be assured I would always be considerate of you the best I can

- I need AC in the Summer and I like it C-C-C-C-C-C-COLD!!! I am a big bear, I am SUPER furry and I am a human furnace! In the Winter I never put my heat on and usually have the door open... and in the Summer I BLAST the AC and love it NICE AND COOL... I am looking for someone who shares the same love for the cold so we aren't always fighting about lowering and raising the temperature haha

- I ALWAYS pay my rent.. ON TIME!! This is important because you would be required for half the rent.. which I would never be able to cover as I do not take in a lot of money, at the moment! But my current landlord can vouch that for the last 8+ years I have paid my rent EVERY month, on time, no excuses, no ifs and or buts!!! So, you can know the first of each month my rent would be paid and I would hope the same from you! :)

- Speaking of money... I mentioned how I am not making a lot right now... I would like you to let me know how much you are looking for rent... and perhaps if the amount is too high, I can strike a deal with you... like, perhaps I agree to do more of the cleaning chores, each month, but I pay a few hundred less... or something along those lines, if you are in a position where you can cover it!

- Two bathrooms would be AMAZING!

Hmmmmm, I am really not sure what else to say... I think at this point I need to see if anyone replies to this and has any questions and perhaps we can go from there! So... yeah... oh also.. I am super fun to be around - I am funny, and charismatic, and empathetic, and overall just a big warm, silly ogre!
