Moving to NYC in mid/late April for a new job (starts April 24th). Still not completely sold on the idea of having a roommate, but if the right person comes around I will consider. Moving from the Midwest.

I'm an easy-going person who keeps a clean apartment and enjoys having a well-decorated place. Will probably not do a lot of hosting, but would like someone who can judge when to join in or when to step out if I choose to have people over. I cook more than most city-dwellers but take care to be clean and diffuse odors. I have a keyboard piano and might do light practicing (but can purchase headphones if it's bothersome). I have a good amount of furniture for a common space (couch, TV, TV stand, bookshelf, etc.) and would like to bring it with me if possible.

Open to having a FaceTime call and getting to know one another.

Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats and dogs so they're a hard no.
