Available Room for Rent

$825 -- Room in Warm, Safe home -- Located near Uptown Vancouver

Hello! My name is Alex and I have one unfurnished bedroom available to rent starting February 1st. The rent for this room is $825 per month which includes Water/Sewer and utilities (Electric/Internet/Trash) is additional. The apartment is 3-Bedroom/1-Bathroom and right now I use the other bedroom as my home office, however as I only use it part of the week, I am quite open to talking about a shared WFH office arrangement with split rent, as that is what I did with my former roommate. Here are some details:
• Private bedroom in a 3BR apartment
• Bright, spacious apartment with shared kitchen and bathroom
• Large living room with big couch and shared TV
• Off-street parking plus grill for summer use
• In-Unit W/D
• Limited shared storage
• Month-to-month lease; high preference for 1+ year stay
• Deposit, background check, and application fee required
• No pets
• Unfortunately no couples or kids, either

I am looking for a roommate who has following characteristics;
• Calm,
• No drama,
• Able to clearly communicate needs;
• Clean, but also understands the challenges of ADHD or willing to learn more.
• Queer-Friendly

I try to keep things as clean as possible, but I try not to stress when mistakes happen; I am looking for someone that has a similar philosophy when it comes to living together.

Some of the perks of living here is that it is in a generally quiet, pretty neighborhood for walking/running, about 1.5 miles to Downtown Vancouver, 10 minutes max to the Farmer’s Market. The Landlord is very responsive to issues and is very friendly. There is off-street parking and a little outside area for grilling or eating in the warmer months.
