ISO dog-loving roommate in 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apt for 6/1!
About the room & apt: unfurnished sunny 13'x10' room (street facing) with 6'8"x 2'2" closet (in living room) on 2nd floor of walk up. The living room and eat-in kitchen are fully furnished; shared pantry closet and lots of cupboard space in the kitchen, which was renovated last year. To move in, $1,200 deposit and first month's rent (discounted to $700 for month of June, $1,200/mo thereafter). Utilities are ~$90/mo (Verizon Fios and ConEd, gas & electric). We're on a quiet street 1 block from several laundromats, 4 blocks from C-town, steps away from many bars and restaurants, including the Bohemian beer garden, and Astoria Park. 7 min walk to m60-SBS bus and Astoria Blvd NW station. About you: quiet, clean, friendly, and respectful; signing on for 12 month lease. Must love dogs! Must have proof of income and good credit (required by our landlord). Ideally, not a pet owner (my dog is very selective but has lived with other small, calm, older dogs and a cat), but we could make it work if our pets meet and get along.
