Hi, my name is Amanda, I'm 25 yers old and I have lived in Los Angeles for about two years. It has been such an incredible experience and I have made a really strong support system here. I am currently going to Santa Monica College to work toward becoming a therapist that works with children as well as adults with addiction issues and anyone that has gone through a life-altering trauma. I grew up in Orange County, but went off to college at Boise state university. I absolutely loved it there, but I had some medical issues going o, so I had to move back home with my parents in Irvine.
I have a 2 year old mini Australian shepherd dog named, "Oakley." He is the sweetest and most amazing dog every (he LOVES to give kisses).
One last thing that I like to mention before anything else is that I am a recovering drug addict. Rehab was what brought me to LA in the first place. I almost have 18 months sober and am loving this second chance at living a meaningful and loving life!

Hi, I am looking for a female roommate to move into the extra room in my townhouse. The room is a decent size and has it's own private bathroom and closet. The washer and dryer are downstairs near the living room; there is parking included as well. The townhouse Is located in a gated community and a security guard walks around a couple of times per night to make sure to keep everyone safe. The whole townhouse is furnished, except for the room that is available (I can provide a queen mattress if needed). Rent is $1490 per month plus 1/2 of the utilities. I am sober, so no drugs or alcohol in the house. I don't care what you do in your free time, I just ask that nothing is kept in the house. As for the timetable, my first preference would be that somebody will do a 9 month lease (that's what left of my current lease), but I really need to find someone to take the room. I will definitely consider something shorter. But you'd have to at least stay for a one month minimum, and if you decide to stay longer, we can do it month to month lease.
