I live off of East Riverside at an apartment called The Edison which is only THREE miles from downtown! They are newly built and they have amazing ammenities that include a pool that has a view of the Austin Skyline, a Cycle studio, A rooftop Lounge, and a huge dog park! The staff is awesome and really easy to work with. The apartment is a 1bd/1bath about 760sqft with a balcony. Rent is $1340 a month and utilities are really cheap as they are split amongst your unit. Typically $5-$10 for water and $25 for electricity. If needed it can come furnished!
